What's On around Rannoch
Amongst other events in the area, on the third Saturday in August each year, the spacious arena of Weller Poley Park, in Kinloch Rannoch village, plays host to the Rannoch Highland Gathering where you will find all the traditional Highland sports and entertainment, including tossing the caber, highland dancing, archery and lots of other fun to watch or take part in. There are produce stalls and a barbeque and tea tent.
On a Sunday in May, the Etape Caledonia cycling event passes through our beautiful glen with around 6,000 people taking part. This is a closed-road event but the road into Kinloch Rannoch from Pitlochry reopens by lunchtime.
There are regularly concerts in the Old Church, Kinloch Rannoch, run by Music in Rannoch, throughout the year with talented young singers and musicians from far and wide.
