Kilvrecht Camp Site

A peaceful place to spend a break

Information and to Book Online

Leave the modern world behind for a while.   If you like fresh air, peace and quiet, and the sound of birds singing around your pitch, you might just think Kilvrecht is a little piece of heaven.

There are three trails around Carie right next to the campsite. Our map of trails in the forest will help you explore.

A haven from the modern world, you'll need to look elsewhere if you want a campsite with entertainment, bars and restaurants.

Opening & Closing Dates

We are open 1st April - 31st October 2022.

Booking Information

We require a full payment to be made at the time of booking. This ensures that your booking is confirmed.

Touring & Camping

We have 50 pitches that can be booked during our season. For our grass pitches you can choose any location within our extensive camping fields to set up. Our hard standing pitches are individually booked and accept all tourer types (no tents permitted), as long as the unit is 6.5m or under.

Our camping fields accept most tourer types, along with any sized tent. Please walk over your chosen pitch first to ensure it is firm enough for the weight of your vehicle or tourer.

Backpackers

We allow for backpackers to book stays at a reduced rate. Please note; this is only for backpackers with tents and no car.

Further Information

Food and drink

The Country Store, a small general store, is situated in the nearby village of Kinloch Rannoch, 3 miles to the east.  There is a popular cafe on the platform at Rannoch Station and another in Kinloch Rannoch village square called The Riverbank.  The towns of Pitlochry and Aberfeldy, both 20 miles away, offer a range of shops and places to eat and drink.
